The Isle of HarrisDespite being known as an island, Harris is in fact the Southern third of the largest and most northerly of the Western Isles, most of which forms Lewis. Harris is characterised by its high mountains, deeply indented sea lochs, coastal islands, and the beautiful white beaches that punctuate the predominant grey rock and green heather. Tarbert is the village capital of Harris and the ferry terminus for Uig on the Isle of Skye. Useful Links |
